A Richmond Dental Implant Protects the Jaw Bones

A Richmond dental implant crown is very much like other crowns. It is specially built to be fitted on to your tooth. The tooth itself would be geared up to accept the crown. If you see us, however, you will notice just one difference. In our office, by the time we are ready to install the crown, your real tooth is left untouched. Meaning, we don't do any filing on it. We prefer to use some sort of abutment to help fuse the pieces. This is the trunk that connects the dental implant root to the crown. The abutment will replace the cylindrical prepped tooth. You won't regret having a Richmond dental implant. It really helps in protecting corrosion in the jaw bones. I'm sure you can see why we do it this way. In the end, the bone material would become unusable.

Bone can also be affected when putting in bridges or dentures. During the process, the process involves substituting missing teeth or ones that have been damaged. This inevitably means we have to say goodbye to bone cells that you find around the root of the missing tooth.

With a Richmond dental implant, you won't have this problem. The implant we put in your jaw will keep it safe by imitating a genuine tooth. You will receive a titanium root, shaped cylindrically, which is inserted into your jaw bone. This helps to activate the bone matter. And after a few months, the bone cells will reproduce and surround the titanium root and accept it as its own.

Bridges and dentures are not obstacles to getting dental implants. If you've had dentures or a bridge for a long time, you are not excluded from also getting a dental implant. Even injured jaw bone can be fixed to receive a dental implant. What we do is buttress the area by filling it with bone matter from elsewhere and leaving it for a while. By the time it heals, your jaw will be ready for the implant. We usually get fresh bone material from your hips or another area of your jaw.

Once the reinforcement is done, we put in the attachment. And to top it off, we put in the crown. By doing this, we have a prosthetic dental implant crown that will stay in your mouth for years and years. You can use it freely. It won't cause injury to your jaw and, as for how it looks, you will be able to boast a great smile.

Make sure that you download a 36 page report I wrote called Relax Your Way to a Great Smile, which gives you the nuts and bolts about Richmond sedation dentistry and the fact that the lack of needles can help you. (Of course, there is a local anesthetic and we are forced to use a needle for that…but you will wonder if and when we have done it…I guarantee that you won't have a clue if you've had the shot.) You have my guarantee that I will never share your private details with anybody and you can opt out anytime.
