Barry Bonds is the personal hero of a lot of folks. He holds the record for home runs in all of Major League Baseball. He also holds records for walks and intentional walks.

Mr. Bonds has three children, two of whom are entering their teen years and speak Swedish and French. Mr. Bonds is a very private person but he has said how important religion is to his life.

Whatever you think about the allegations, Mr. Bonds is one of the greatest baseball players. And he is obviously quite intelligent. I hope he can serve as a role model for today's young people, regardless of how his legal issues turn out. In some way, he can serve as an example.
