Midlothian gum disease
I came across an interesting web page that talks about some ways to help prevent gum disease. They say that 80% of people have gum disease and I wouldn't be surprised if this is so based upon my experience with patients.
This is Jennifer Love Hewitt. She started in entertainment by coming to Los Angeles to pursue music. She fell into acting instead. I am very glad. But she also has done a few albums too.
In a recent interview she confessed she can't ride a bicycle. Wow! I have never met her, nor treated her, but I do think she is quite pretty and that her smile is very beautiful.
She could have gum disease and we would never know it.
Healthy gums don't bleed when you brush. They should look pink but not inflamed. They should be tight. I monitor the depth of patient's gum pockets. These reveal over time how much gum disease a person has and which direction it is going. Pockets don't get less deep but hopefully they don't get deeper. Pockets are a result of bone loss and eventually the teeth don't have a lot of bone to anchor the roots and that is ultimately the cause of a lot of people having to lose their teeth later in life.
I am a big believer in things that help you not need my services.
I think a good oral home care program can help a lot. And sometimes people will come to me and I'll do some special cleanings that will also help.
You don't have to be Jennifer Love Hewitt to get treatment for Midlothian gum disease. I'd love to see you any time no matter who you are. Everyone is a celebrity in my office.
Please get my free 36 page report on relaxation dentistry. It's free and I'll never share your name and email with anyone. You can leave the list anytime.
